Wednesday 15th January 2025 for dinner with normal trading hours ongoing until our final service which will be dinner on Saturday 1st February 2025.

It was an emotional day today as we farewelled Mohammed from the Gravel Hill Community Garden.

You are an incredible human Mohammed and Bendigo will miss you terribly.

Thank you for your kindness, wisdom and beautiful produce we were grateful for over the past seven years.

All the best in Melbourne and your new chapter and hope you come visit us sometime in the future.

It’s time.

With twelve years as Masons of Bendigo, it’s time for the remaining twelve years of the lease, at 25 Queen Street, to become a new flavour favourite for Bendigo.

We’ve had an incredible time within that space making so many friendships and connections along the way. We appreciate and thank you all for your support over the years, both through the good and the tougher; showing us the strength of our Central Victorian’s community spirit.

‘So why now?’, I hear you ask…

I remember telling my parents I was going to pursue a career in cooking and the first thing Dad said was, ‘When everyone else is having fun, you’ll be busy working over a hot stove’.

Well, we’re ready to be those people who go to a concert on a Saturday night, eat out any day of the week, go away for a weekend and do more stuff with our family. Because our family is everything to us and with Mum and Dad passing, you realise life is short. Small business ownership, especially in hospitality, takes so much of that time away from you. We still love cooking but we’re ready to walk toward a place where we can take the time. And breathe. Enjoy life on the other side of hospitality.

Yes, the trip to Slovenia affirmed that for us.

We’d love to thank all of you who have been with us on this journey; what a joy it has been. Our guests, friends, producers and all of you who have shared the Masons Experience with us over the last twelve years.

We have so many wonderful memories and enjoyed so many experiences.
