Masons of Bendigo Menu

We are very excited to have the opportunity to continue showcasing Central Victoria’s best produce from Tuesday 2nd June 2020. Our menu is continually evolving with the seasons and producers’ availability.For the safety of our guests, from Tuesday the 2nd, we will be offering individually plated dishes in a set menu format. You will be experiencing the same quality of food and service you’ve come to love over the past eight years. 

Lunch

Thursday – Saturday from 12 noon – 3pm.

Our ever popular Lunch Roaming; seven seasonal tastes for $38.

If you’d like an Extended Lunch Roaming add a cheese and a dessert course for $52.

These menus are changing weekly.

Wine matching are also available on request, please ask when ordering.

Dinner

Tuesday – Saturday from 6pm.

Enjoy a full Masons experience by choosing from one of the following options:

– Chef Selected Roaming Menu $75 which includes seven, seasonal courses. Wine matching available for an additional $45.

– 3 courses $80; choose an entree, main and dessert from the menu.

– 2 courses $60; choose an entree and main OR main and dessert from the menu.

Please advise us at the time of your booking if you have any specific dietary requirements. In particular, many dishes on the menu can be altered to be made Gluten Free. Look for this ^ notation.  (V) = vegetarian, (GF) = gluten free (P) = contains pork. Please note: We cannot guarantee 100% that our food is allergen or gluten free. STARTERS
  • Tataki of Beef, garlic chips, crispy chilli, mayonnaise, cucumber, fried Chinese donuts
  • Crispy fried eggplant salad, kohlrabi, macadamia nut, coconut, chilli caramel dressing, lime (V)
  • Warrigal greens, whipped tofu and ginger dumplings, Tom kha, sweet and sour carrots, rice crisps (V)
  • Tempura fried zucchini flowers, smoked ricotta, preserved beetroot, yeast mayonnaise, papitas, kale (V)
  • Confit duck leg salad, umeboshi plum, duck liver parfait, pork cheek bacon, quince, witlof, quinoa crumble (P)
  • Rabbit pithivier, pine mushrooms, miso cream, black garlic vinaigrette
  • Baked cauliflower tart, Victorian scallops, cured duck egg, bottarga, bronze fennel, salmon pearls

MAIN
  • Pork Fillet, morcilla, roasted brassica, fennel, swede, caramelised garlic, crackle pinwheel (P)
  • Crumbed Victorian garfish, preserved white asparagus, yoghurt tartare, salted turnip, succulents, olive oil crisps
  • Braised beef cheek, celeriac, Jerusalem artichoke, potato wafer, pickled mustard seeds, horseradish
  • Lamb rump, braised neck and belly, spiced pumpkin, fromage, onion pickle crisp
  • Potato and ricotta gnocchi, purple cauliflower, peas, mustard leaf, truffle parmesan, Brussel sprouts, toasted quinoa (V)

CHEESE
  • Holy Goat ‘La Luna’ and Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese ‘Mt Bunninyong Mist', served with brandied kumquats, Masons crackers, Masons Shiraz jelly

DESSERT
  • Roasted strawberries, sponge cake, baked rhubarb, vanilla ice cream, croquant, bay leaf oil
  • Lemon myrtle crème caramel, poached pears, quandong, linseed, honeycomb
  • Ruby chocolate cheesecake, white chocolate bark, poached tamarillo, raspberry sorbet
